What is Business Launchpad?

Business Launchpad is an AI business planning tool for UK founders. You describe an idea in one sentence and get a Founder Brief immediately, without an account. A free account then builds eight more sections: brand identity, market analysis, MVP plan, 90-day roadmap, pitch deck, AI opportunities, 12-month financial projections and a full written business plan.

Is Business Launchpad free to use?

Yes. The Founder Brief is free with no account. The free plan lets you build three ideas with all thirteen sections. The Founder plan, £19 a month or £149 a year with a 14-day trial and no card, adds unlimited ideas and the downloadable Business Pack: PDF plan, PowerPoint pitch deck, Excel financial model and brand kit.

How long does it take to generate a business plan?

The Founder Brief takes about 30 seconds. The remaining eight sections build in around six minutes. The optional founder interview adds three to five minutes and tailors the later sections to your answers.

Will Business Launchpad tell me if my idea is bad?

Yes. Once your market analysis and financials are built, the Validation Verdict reviews the whole plan and returns one of three calls: build it, reposition it, or it is too crowded. It scores market opportunity, differentiation, execution feasibility and financial viability out of 100, names the biggest concern, and lists three cheap tests that would change the assessment.

Why use Business Launchpad instead of ChatGPT or Claude?

A general chatbot is excellent for thinking out loud, and Business Launchpad runs on the same frontier models. The difference is what you leave with. A chatbot writes "break-even around month eight" as a sentence; Business Launchpad gives you an Excel model with live formulas where changing the price moves the break-even month. A chat thread is not something you send to a bank or an investor; you get a branded PDF plan, a PowerPoint deck with speaker notes, the financial model, a one-page Founder Snapshot and a brand kit. A chatbot is trained to be helpful and will write an enthusiastic plan for a saturated idea; the Validation Verdict is willing to tell you the market is too crowded. And the sections stay connected: revising your competitor list flags exactly what was built on it, instead of quietly contradicting it.

Can ChatGPT write a business plan?

ChatGPT can write a readable draft of a business plan, and for structure and wording it is genuinely useful. Two things it will not do on its own: produce a financial model that recalculates when you change an assumption, since it writes numbers as prose rather than formulas, and tell you the idea is not worth pursuing, because it is trained to be helpful. It also has no memory of the plan between chats, so sections drift out of agreement as the thread gets longer. If you use it, write each section as a separate prompt, give it your real numbers, and ask it explicitly to argue against the idea.

What is the Idea Vault?

The Idea Vault is a private space inside Business Launchpad for capturing raw ideas, notes and sparks before they are ready to build. Ideas move through stages from spark to building, and any vault entry can be turned into a full plan with one click.

Is the output professional advice?

No. Everything Business Launchpad generates is a starting point produced by AI from your inputs. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and financial projections are illustrative until you check them against your own numbers.

1. What Business Launchpad is

Business Launchpad is an AI-assisted tool that helps you draft and explore a business plan. You describe your idea; the service generates structured written content covering market analysis, financials, branding, operations, and other sections.

Business Launchpad is not:

Legal advice, legal services, or a substitute for a solicitor.
Financial advice, investment advice, or a regulated financial service.
Tax advice. No output should be treated as a tax position.
A company formation or registration service.
An accountancy service or audit.
A guarantee of commercial success for any idea.
A backup service. We do not guarantee the availability or integrity of data you store here.

These terms form a contract between you and LuxVibeWeb Limited (company number 16954810), registered at 12 Beech Road, Epsom, KT17 4NH, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account you agree to them.

2. Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Business Launchpad. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Both individual founders and businesses may use the service. If you create an account on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

The service is available in English. We do not represent that it complies with the laws of any jurisdiction outside England and Wales.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at privacy@business-launchpad.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You must provide accurate information when you register. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their knowledge.

4. Your content

You own the ideas, descriptions, interview answers, and other content you input into the service ("your content"). You also own the AI-generated output produced from your content, subject to any rights that may exist in the AI model's training data.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit your content for the purpose of operating and improving the service. We will not use your specific idea content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe a third party's intellectual property rights.

When you enter another person's personal data (for example, their email address to invite them), you confirm that you have a lawful basis for doing so. You are the source of that data and bear responsibility for the decision to submit it.

5. AI-generated outputs

AI-generated content is a starting point, not a finished or verified document. It is produced by an automated system based on your inputs. No human reviews it before it is shown to you.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific circumstances. Market data, financial projections, and regulatory statements produced by the AI are illustrative only. Do not rely on them without independent verification.

Business plans, pitch decks, and financial models downloaded from the service are drafts. Before using them for investment decisions, funding applications, or regulatory purposes, have them reviewed by a qualified professional.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

✕Submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or infringes a third party's rights.

✕Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or data.

✕Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service by automated means without our written consent.

✕Use the service to generate content for mass-distribution spam or phishing.

✕Submit a third party's personal data without their knowledge where you do not have a lawful basis for doing so.

✕Misrepresent AI-generated output as independently verified professional advice.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.

7. Paid plans and free tier

The free tier allows you to build up to three ideas. Paid plans ("Founder") remove this limit and unlock downloads and additional features. Current prices are shown at the point of purchase. All prices include VAT where applicable.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

If a payment fails, our payment provider will attempt to collect it again according to its retry schedule. After repeated failures, your account may revert to the free tier.

14-day free trials, where offered, require no payment card. At the end of the trial your account reverts to the free tier automatically. We will notify you by email before the trial ends.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Business Launchpad available and functioning, but we make no promise about uptime, response times, or freedom from errors. The service is provided as-is.

We may suspend the service for maintenance, security reasons, or circumstances outside our control. We will try to give advance notice of planned downtime where possible.

AI-generated content depends on third-party AI infrastructure. If that infrastructure is unavailable, generation will fail. We are not responsible for failures caused by our AI provider's outages.

9. Liability

What cannot be excluded by law: Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of Business Launchpad, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, is limited to the greater of:

(a) the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £50.

This cap is set at a level we consider fair for a service of this type. If you pay us nothing (free tier), £50 reflects the minimal financial relationship and the availability of alternative free tools for business planning.

We are not liable for the following, which are specific risks of this type of service:

AI inaccuracyLoss arising from reliance on AI-generated content that turns out to be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. AI outputs are drafts, not verified advice.

No backup guaranteeLoss of data you store in the service. We are not a backup service. Keep your own copies of important content.

Email deliveryLosses caused by an invitation, share link, or notification email not being delivered. Email delivery is not guaranteed.

Third-party actionsActions taken by other users who you invite to view your ideas.

Business outcomesCommercial losses, loss of profit, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of business arising from any ideas or plans generated or stored in the service.

Indirect lossesAny indirect or consequential loss, however arising.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@business-launchpad.co.uk. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we decide to discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice of service discontinuation where possible.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections 4 (your content), 5 (AI outputs), 9 (liability), and 11 (governing law) survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect for existing users. If you continue to use the service after that date, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, close your account before the change date.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts for that part.

If you have a complaint about the service, please contact us first at privacy@business-launchpad.co.uk. We aim to resolve complaints within 14 working days.
